It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to the 12th AP IRIA State Conference 2026, hosted at AIIMS Mangalagiri and organised by the Vijayawada Subchapter of AP IRIA, in association with the Department of Radio Diagnosis, AIIMS Mangalagiri.
With the theme “Radiology Ahead: Embracing Change, Creating Opportunity,” this conference aims to bring together radiologists, academicians, researchers and industry leaders from across the state and beyond to explore the latest advances, innovations and future directions in radiology and imaging sciences.
Situated on the banks of the sacred Krishna River, Vijayawada is renowned for the revered Sri Kanaka Durga Temple atop the historic Indrakeeladri Hill, one of the most cherished spiritual landmarks of Andhra Pradesh. We are delighted to welcome you to this vibrant city known for its rich heritage, warm hospitality and dynamic growth.
The scientific programme has been thoughtfully curated to provide an enriching academic experience through keynote lectures, panel discussions, interactive sessions, case-based learning and scientific paper presentations. It has come to notice that some unscrupulous elements are trying to deceive candidates/general public through fake recruitment notices, fictitious messages on social media, websites, emails, WhatsApp messages, etc., in the name of facilitating or securing jobs in AIIMS Mangalagiri.
Some fraudulent individuals may approach job seekers through illegal mobile numbers, fake e-mails, SMS, social media platforms, WhatsApp links, or bogus websites offering job opportunities in AIIMS Mangalagiri and demand money in cash or through online transactions, mobile apps, etc., in fraudulent bank accounts in the name of registration fees, examination fees, processing fees, security deposits, etc.
Vijayawada International Airport (Gannavaram) is the nearest airport, located approximately 20 km from Vijayawada and 35 km from Mangalagiri. The airport is well-connected with major Indian cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata. Taxis and app-based cab services are readily available for convenient travel to the conference venue.
Vijayawada Junction (BZA) is one of the busiest railway stations in India and serves as a major railway hub on the South Central Railway network. It has excellent connectivity to all major cities across the country. Mangalagiri Railway Station is also located nearby and provides easy access to AIIMS Mangalagiri.
Vijayawada and Mangalagiri are well connected by a network of national highways, including NH-16, which forms part of the Golden Quadrilateral. Regular APSRTC, TSRTC, and private bus services operate from Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Bengaluru, and other major cities. Comfortable taxi and cab services are also available for road travel to the venue.
