YUWA Diagnostic Challenge

A Prelude to the Academic Feast

Rules & Guidelines
🔐

Eligibility & Registration
Registration for APIRIA 2026 is mandatory to participate in the YUWA Diagnostic Challenge. Participants must log in using their login credentials to access and attempt the challenge.

👥

Participant Categories
The challenge will have two separate categories — Residents and Consultants — based on the participant's APIRIA 2026 registration category.

🩻

The Challenge
The YUWA Diagnostic Challenge will feature real-life clinical and imaging scenarios, designed to test diagnostic interpretation, observation and practical radiology knowledge.

📅

Release of Case Sets
New diagnostic cases, in sets, will be uploaded periodically in the run-up to the conference. Participants are encouraged to attempt all the case sets to maximize their cumulative score.

☝️

One Submission per Case Set
Each case set can be submitted only once. Once the form is submitted, the responses are final and cannot be changed, edited or resubmitted.

✍️

Answer Submission & Evaluation
Responses will be evaluated electronically using predefined accepted keywords. Participants are advised to enter the specific diagnosis/answer requested and ensure correct spelling. Responses that do not match the accepted keywords may not be automatically scored as correct.

🎯

Scoring
Each correct answer will contribute to the participant's cumulative score across all case sets. The participant securing the highest cumulative score in each category will be declared the respective category winner.

Closing Date
The YUWA Diagnostic Challenge will close on 21 September 2026 at 11:59 PM. No further submissions will be accepted after the deadline.

💡

Correct Answers at the Conference
The correct answers to all cases featured in the YUWA Diagnostic Challenge will be displayed during APIRIA 2026 at the Prof. Kakarla Subba Rao Scientific Corridor at the conference venue.

🏆

Results & Prizes
Separate prizes will be awarded in the Resident and Consultant categories. Winners will be determined based on the highest cumulative scores and announced during the Award Ceremony following the inauguration at APIRIA 2026. Prize details will be announced shortly.
